Quick Start Guide

Welcome to CoralLedger Comply! This guide will help you get started with VAT compliance for your Bahamian business.

What is CoralLedger Comply?​

CoralLedger Comply is a VAT compliance platform built specifically for businesses operating under The Bahamas VAT framework and the 2025 reforms. It helps you:

  • Record transactions via CSV import or manual entry
  • Review and assign VAT categories (Standard, Reduced, Zero-Rated, Exempt) with guided suggestions
  • Generate VAT returns with L1-L31 DIR form fields ready for filing
  • Monitor compliance with real-time scoring, anomaly detection, and intelligence dashboards
  • Manage multiple clients through the Firm Portal for accounting professionals

Getting Started in 5 Minutes​

  1. Create your account — Sign up at comply.coralledger.com. The 4-step wizard walks you through account details, account type, business info, and email verification — see Create Your Account.
  2. Set up your business — During registration you choose between a single business, joining an existing one with an invitation code, or registering an accounting firm. See Set Up Your Business.
  3. (Recommended) Enable Two-Factor Authentication — 2FA is strongly recommended but only enforced for PlatformAdmin users. Set it up from your account settings — see Two-Factor Authentication.
  4. Import transactions — Upload your CSV or enter transactions manually.
  5. Review categorization — Verify VAT categories are correct.
  6. Generate your return — Create your VAT return with the DIR form format.
